Events: Shall be responsible for organizing and scheduling professional development seminars, training and education programs; overseeing all community service projects, events and activities

Professional Development: Shall be responsible for organizing and scheduling professional development seminars, training and education programs.

Bylaws: Overseeing the set of rules that govern how the NFBPA South Florida Chapter will operate and provides guidance to the Board of Directors.

Public Policy: Identifies long-term trends and policy issues affecting local governments, which could duties such as preparing white papers and fact sheets

Community Service: Overseeing all community service projects, events and activities, and serve as the quality assurance mechanism for the NFBPA South Florida Chapter.

Programs: Shall be responsible for organizing and scheduling professional development seminars, training and education programs; overseeing all community service projects, events and activities

Finance: Duties include budget preparation and serves as the coordinator for fundraising activities.

Marketing: Shall be responsible for the public image of the NFBPA South Florida Chapter. The duties include, but are not limited to press releases, social media, and website updates.

Membership: Responsible for the continual membership recruitment campaigns, maintenance of listing of interested prospects and persons, as well as those who have declined chapter membership.

Corporate Advisory Council: Is responsible for generating corporate support for the Chapter’s program initiatives.

Strategic Planning: Will adhere to the strategic planning process to provide a future roadmap for the organization that will coincide with the Vision 2025 Strategic Plan. The plan is designed to provide a framework through which the organization can grow and evolve.


Emerging Leaders: Professional development, training and networking opportunities to empower the leaders of tomorrow skillful and accomplished leaders from the public sector who will be moving into leadership positions in their organizations.
